Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital has officially enacted Ministerial Decree No. 469 of 2025, which establishes a comprehensive list of telecommunications devices required to meet technical standards. This regulation follows the mandate of Ministerial Regulation No. 3 of 2024 on the certification of telecommunications equipment.
The decree aims to ensure safety, interoperability, and quality across all devices used in Indonesia’s telecommunications ecosystem. Compliance with technical standards helps protect consumers and supports a robust digital infrastructure.

Compliance must be demonstrated through official certification. The decree takes effect 30 calendar days after issuance, dated November 7, 2025.
