Lebanon Transfers Type Approval Authority to TRA
Lebanon has announced an important regulatory change in the telecommunications sector: all Type Approval responsibilities have officially shifted from the Ministry of Telecommunications (MoT) to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA).
For companies placing wireless, radio, or telecom equipment on the Lebanese market, all applications, renewals, approvals, and regulatory interactions must now go directly through the TRA.
