Bolivia: ATT Updates Telecommunications Equipment Categories Requiring Homologation

On February 25, 2026, Bolivia’s Telecommunications and Transport Regulation and Oversight Authority (ATT) issued an updated list of telecommunications equipment that must undergo homologation before being imported or commercialized in the country. 3. High‑Capacity Optical Transport Systems

  • Optical multiplexing and wavelength‑division systems

4. Satellite Communication Equipment

  • Satellite terminal devices
  • Satellite gateways and access units
  • Satellite communication modems
  • Consumer satellite TV and data reception equipment

5. Broadcasting & Digital Television Equipment

  • Digital TV transmission systems
  • Encoding and decoding units for television
  • Digital receivers with enhanced capabilities

6. Radio & Critical Communications Systems
